About Us

The Friends of Historic Halifax, Inc., a nonprofit, support organization associated with North Carolina State Historic Site of Historic Halifax welcomes you to come visit this state historic site to learn and experience history in an engaging way.

The Mission of FOHH

FOHH supports the ongoing efforts to sustain, improve, and maintain Historic Halifax, promotes pride, economic development, historical appreciation, cultural wellness, and a sense of community for Historic Halifax, assists the staff at Historic Halifax in recruiting, recognizing and retaining volunteers, and works cooperatively with the municipalities and community organizations in Halifax County in generating long-term financial support for Historic Halifax.
