Descendants of the Delegates Project in HIstoric Halifax, North Carolina

Are you related to a delegate of the 4th Provincial Congress that met in Halifax and directed the representatives from the state to the Continental Congress in Philadelphia to move toward independence from England? Over eighty delegates representing counties and towns of North Carolina attended and unanimously approved the Halifax Resolves on April 12, 1776, a date now commemorated on the North Carolina Flag. This was momentous action. Every delegate was risking his life, his liberty, and his property with this document.

If you are curious, the form below can assist in documenting your ancestral line.
