WR Davie House Landscaping Project

The William Richardson Davie House, a 1783 property on the National Register of Historic Properties within the NC Historic District, was the residence of WR Davie from 1785-1805. A man of enormous historical significance, Davie served as a governor, peace emissary to France, delegate to the Constitutional Convention, officer in the Revolutionary War, and is recognized as the founder of the first state university, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
